We recently completed this care facility bathroom remodel in Salem, Oregon, designed to improve safety, comfort, and everyday use for both residents and caregivers. The outdated bathroom was transformed into a clean, modern, barrier-free space featuring a roll-in shower, slip-resistant large-format tile, and durable low-maintenance finishes designed for long-term performance.

This ADA-inspired bathroom remodel included grab bars, a comfort-height toilet, a wall-mounted sink with knee clearance, a fold-down shower seat, handheld shower fixtures, and wide wheelchair-accessible clearances throughout the room. We also installed motion-activated lighting and humidity-sensing exhaust fans to help simplify daily use for residents and staff.

Built-in shelving added convenient storage while keeping the bathroom open, uncluttered, and easy to navigate. Every part of the layout was carefully planned to improve accessibility, reduce fall risks, and support safer daily routines within an active care environment.
